What is the “Home Run” Approach?

Imagine the diamond of the baseball field. The bases of healing are covered in her approach.

This leads to a highly comprehensive than lasting physiological effect. Laura’s degree of focus and awareness in session is constantly revolving between these bases as the snapshot of the patience is revealed. Applied Kinesiology (AK) based muscle testing is used as a lens into the body, helping to determine the body’s own priority in a given moment. Recognizing the fact the “state” of the individual is always in flux, the evaluation is looked at in layers. Over time, this reveals a bigger picture of a patient’s global state approach to the care each patient requires.

Laura’s personal journey continues to be one of deep self-discovery, including experiences of healing from the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Laura has gathered a gamut of healing modalities during her 30-year career as a chiropractor in the state of Washington. Laura’s approach to chiropractic practice is based upon a view of the whole person, including your personal energy system.

She believes in coupling a multitude of layers of healing to approach final healing chiropractic including chemical, mental and structural aspects of a person to describe the proper balance of the major health categories. This is known as the “Triad of Health” The triad is represented by an equilateral triangle with structural health as its base, and the upright sides representing chemical and mental health. When a person experiences poor health, it is due to an imbalance in one or more of these three factors. This unique approach to chiropractic care is akin to 3x practitioners in one.

Over Laura's career as a chiropractor, she has discovered her abilities as a healer, intuitive, and shaman. Laura believes in exercising her gifts organically, often, and naturally during session. It could be said that Laura’s “Approach” is to intuitively read her patients, and address their highest capacity of healing in the present moment... and then the next moment.. and then the next. Laura calls this “Finding balance”. I have been going to Dr. Laura Balent for over 20+ years!

The chiropractor I went to before Dr. Laura was the epitome of why I really avoided going to a chiropractor. A quick 15" adjustment, "wam-bam-thank you-ma'am"and see you in a week!" I would get relief for maybe a day or two, at best. I was forking over $$ without any long lasting effects.

Dr. Laura is just the opposite. She takes time to listen to what you think needs help, makes her assessment and then starts the adjustments. If you're too tight, out comes the heating pad and then a little massage with the hand held massage machine. If my lower back or hips need help, out come the foam wedges, letting your body relax onto them and doing adjusting the natural way. When she's done, she gives you a few moments to sit up do a little twisting and stretching, and if you feel like there's still an area that might feel a little stuck, she'll continue to treat you until you feel everything is addressed. She also uses muscle testing to help pinpoint where the issue might be.

Laura has studied how different supplements can assist you in getting your body into a healthy state. Has helped me tremendously with stomach/bile duct issues.

Her warmth and caring attitude is genuine and I would highly recommend her!
